Job summary

A facilities management company located in Ulu Tiram is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee the installation and maintenance of energy systems across multiple factory sites. The ideal candidate will manage infrastructure projects, evaluate maintenance needs, and ensure timely completion of maintenance work. Candidates should have a diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and be fluent in Mandarin and English. CAD skills and knowledge of HVAC systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with industrial construction, HVAC, and M&E systems preferred.

About the job Facilities Engineer | Ulu Tiram

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of energy and facility systems across multiple factory sites, including HVAC, compressed air systems, and electrical/water utilities; handle minor facility modifications as needed.
• Oversee and manage the entire process of company infrastructure projects to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
• Evaluate maintenance needs of company facilities and determine whether to outsource or replace equipment; manage the maintenance process to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect and accept completed maintenance work; provide recommendations and solutions for technical challenges during company infrastructure and facility maintenance to ensure root cause problems are resolved.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above, major or training in: Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or related fields
• Knowledge of building engineering principles
• Familiarity with industrial construction, HVAC, and M&E systems preferred
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD skills preferred
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, in order to have smooth conversation with internal team
