Overview
The successful applicant will function as the focal point accountable for Electrical Systems that cover:
- Switchboards: Medium Voltage (11kV) and Low Voltage (415V) distribution system including ATS, Transformers and Switchgears (note: B0 chargeman available on-site)
- Critical DC equipment: UPS, Batteries
- Generators: Load bank testing, off load testing, functionality and interfacing with other auxiliary components such as exhaust dampers
- Building Electrical Systems: Electrical DBs, lighting, street lighting, emergency lighting, EV Chargers
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Comply with Client’s process flows on PPM and Reactive Maintenance (RM)
- Develop and/or review Method of Procedure (MOPs) document for equipment and/or systems for which PPM or RM is to be executed. This will require close collaboration with both internal team members and with Client representative(s)
- Manage, track and ensure timely deliverables of both OCS appointed and managed (i.e, Client’s vendor who is assigned to OCS to manage) vendors
- Collaborate closely with internal team members to ensure internal (OCS) and external (Client) documentation processes are adhered to at all times, In particular, this will require close collaboration with the CMMS Engineer and Admin Executive of OCS at site
- Actively participate in any shutdown and/or major activity that may only be allowed to take place on weekends or on Public Holidays
- Prepare daily/ weekly updates and monthly report summaries as necessary. This will require daily site walks and verification (refer point no. 5 above) as part of the preparation process.
- Repair and perform preventive maintenance on afore-listed electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot defective equipment and maintain a snags list of defects that cover specific issues and proposed rectification plans
- Perform daily inspections of the critical equipment
- Supports incident response and mitigation. Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and corrective action
- Coordinate with client and vendor for safe execution of any electrical change.
- Evaluate vendor proposals for electrical services, parts and PPM works.
- Plan manpower to support PPM and others improvement projects.
- Monitor critical power, distribution and support systems and facilities to meet or exceed up-time service levels
Qualification Requirement
The individual whom we seek should possess the following:
- Degree in any Engineering / Science / Facilities Management or other technical field of study
- Highly analytical and possess strong fundamentals and comprehension of Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics
- Possesses at least 8 years of O&M experience handling ACMV systems in critical facilities (preferably Electrical and Electronics) or 5 years in other facilities
- Highly familiar with O&M related MEPF system jargons (eg, HT and LV, RMU, MSB/SSB/DB, TX, etc) and units of measurement (eg, PPM, V, Ohm, A, etc)
- Self-driven, innovative and independently drive assigned tasks to satisfactory completion in an output-based environment. Proactive in identifying issues and developing solutions to overcome them
- Ability to be on standby and respond outside of office hours
- Highly adept with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
