A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled welder to perform tasks including reading blueprints, assembling components, and conducting repairs. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Welding, Mechanical, or Engineering, along with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the welding field. Proficiency in both TIG and MIG welding techniques is essential, and candidates should be able to operate relevant tools and ensure the quality of their work.
Highly skilled in welding techniques, including TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), MIG (Metal Inert Gas)
To measure and construct components from raw materials through cutting, shaping, and grinding.
To assemble fabricated components into a larger machine or system.
Able to read blueprints and drawings to plan layouts and procedures.
To perform regular maintenance and repair work to determine the root of problems.
To welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
To replace damaged or defective components.
To determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
Able to set up components for welding according to specifications.
Able to operate hand/power tools to prepare the parts that must be welded.
To align components using callipers, rulers, and clamp pieces.
To repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
To perform testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
To maintain the quality of equipment for safety.
Any other duties assigned by immediate superior.
Requires Diploma/SKM/Certificate in Welding/Mechanical/ Engineering and related field.
Familiar with the TIG welding method and all tools using for fabrication.
Minimum 2 years' work experience in engineering/welding field.
