KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To perform first level failure analysis on customer or production failed units including failure verification report (FVR) generation.
• Capable to operate all the FA instruments including low and high microscope, DCA, Chamber, X-ray machine, parameter analyser, multimeter etc and familiar with chemical work and safety.
• Maintain and oversee calibration of analysis equipment.
• Able to support FA engineers to compile the FA report with conclusion that correlates with physical observations.
• Able to work on swing shift rotation as well as OT whenever there is such a need.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Telecom/Mechatronics) background.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related fields is required for this position. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Applicants must be hands on and analytical person, able to perform soldering and electrical testing, good in Microsoft Excel and able to handle multi tasks situation.
• Knowledge in fibre optics product (transceivers), semiconductor assembly and test background is an advantage.
• Good communication skills with all levels within the organization.
• Willing to work in rotating shifts.
