Job Description

• Greet and interact with guests, addressing inquiries, concerns and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Properly handle cashier functions, ensuring bills are correctly charged, change is returned, and all payments are posted in the POS immediately.
• Keep work stations organized, clean, neat and ensure mise‑en‑place is ready/top‑up.
• Ensure consistent high‑level service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage staff schedules and handle operational logistics.
• Liaise between the kitchen and service areas to ensure smooth operations.
• Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns efficiently.
• Maintain inventory and report needs for supplies and equipment.
• Train new team members and conduct regular team meetings.
• Implement and monitor health and safety protocols.
• Assist the F&B Supervisor as required.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that working areas, furnishings and equipment are well‑maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, proper functionality, safe to use and zero faulty.
• Ensure that par levels of guest operating supplies and F&B stock are maintained and item availability is guaranteed.
• Report all maintenance defects immediately to departmental managers and follow up with the Engineering Department.
• Work in conjunction with the department manager’s guidance on best practice changes and ideas.
• Capable of attending guest feedback/complaints or compliments and, if necessary, refer them to the Supervisor or Department Manager on‑duty for corrective action or service recovery within immediate based on case.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM / Diploma in Hotel Management / Catering & Events.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience as an F&B Captain in Restaurant, Banquet operations, or In‑Room Dining.
• Discipline and self‑motivated.
• Good personal hygiene and neat appearance.
