Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic F&B Captain to join our team in Sepang, Malaysia. As an F&B Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and motivating our service team.

  • Greet and interact with guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Handle cashier operations: ensure all bills are correctly charged, appropriate change is returned for cash payments, and correct amounts are entered for credit card, e‑wallet, and online payments. All bills must be posted, closed immediately in POS upon guest’s payment received.
  • Keep work stations organised, clean, neat and ensure required mise‑en‑place are ready/top‑up.
  • Ensure consistent high‑level service and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Manage staff schedules and handle operational logistics.
  • Liaise between the kitchen and service areas to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory and report needs for supplies and equipment.
  • Train new team members and conduct regular team meetings.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols.
  • Assist the F&B Supervisor as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure working areas, furnishings and equipment are well‑maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, proper functionality, safety, and zero faults.
  • Maintain par levels of guest’s operating supplies and F&B stock, ensuring item availability.
  • Report all maintenance defects immediately to the departmental managers and liaise with Engineering Department for follow‑up.
  • Work in conjunction with departmental manager’s guidance on operation best practices.
  • Attend to guest feedback/complaints or compliments; refer them to Supervisor/Department’s Manager on‑duty for corrective action or service recovery as needed.
Qualifications
