Overview

We are seeking an energetic, results‑oriented Product Planner to manage a portfolio of Keysight Workflow Solutions (KWS). This position requires a dynamic leader with a passion for working with key customers to obtain industry and customer insights, identify emerging technologies and application opportunities with the objective to develop impactful growth initiatives and solution roadmap, and drive implementation of strategic plan to increase Keysight workflow market shares.

The Product Planning position requires knowledge and understanding of workflow products and its market. An ideal candidate should have solid skills in all aspects of market analysis, segmentation, strategy and business case articulation. This role also requires candidates to have deep understanding of the technology and product lifecycle processes with a track record of cross‑functional collaboration, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Develop and driving business and marketing plans for the products. This includes setting the product prices and sales bundles. Develop all relevant publicity and educational materials to enable customer preference in our products. Develop all relevant sales tools such as application notes, customer success stories, competition analysis, demos etc, to enable expertise of the field teams to sell our products. Determine accurate order forecast to ensure that Keysight fulfils the customers’ demands. Evolve or revolve products or features to keep the customer preference according to ever changing customer needs and applications.

  • Develop sales tools such as application notes, customer success stories, competition analysis and demos.
  • Determine accurate order forecast to meet customer demand.
  • Evolve or revolve products or features to keep customer preference aligned with changing needs and applications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) and 8–10+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning, business development, marketing, and customer applications.
  • Strong business judgment with intimate knowledge of customer organizations and markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; goal‑oriented, self‑motivated with a sense of urgency and passion for the role.
  • Track record in disciplined execution of complex renewals processes and funnel management in a software business.
  • Ability to continually assess and understand customer business initiatives and identify issues/opportunities that might adversely affect renewal health.
  • Skill in negotiating and articulating Keysight’s value propositions to customers at all levels.
  • Strong customer relationship building skills at all levels, and ability to manage complex sales funnels.
  • Workflow software knowledge and high level of application knowledge.
  • Previous renewal/software sales experience.
  • Curious / learning mindset and a fierce desire to learn about customers and profession.
