The role
Location: Open to India, Malaysia or the Philippines (Mostly remote with occasional travels as needed to cover the APAC region)
The role of the APAC AWS Digital Sales/Demand Generation Team Leader is to assist SoftwareOne to grow the AWS Services business. The APAC AWS Digital Sales/Demand Generation Team Leader will work with country leadership, regional leadership, sales teams, and AWS Services leadership to identify strategic markets and services opportunities and actively drive net new pipeline with the aim to accelerate the growth of SoftwareOne services sales in key geographies.
The successful candidate will build targeted lead generation campaigns by planning lead generation activities across several engagement channels, including online and face-to-face events. The Leader will support the creation of appropriate marketing and demand generation content to facilitate the execution of these campaigns. Further, this role will take an active position to strategic market planning, research and advisory to support the growth strategy of the APAC AWS Services practice within Software One.
Demand Generation
- Demand and lead generation by identifying, prospecting and profiling key must-win accounts and sales targets for Software One’s AWS Services offering and Software One revenue targets
- Identifying new markets and generating leads for Software One’s business growth
- Development of a database of prospects to grow Software One’s AWS Services offering and Software One’s pipeline
- Active collaboration with channel partners on demand generation activities
- Success Measurement:
- Prepare a prospect list of accounts aligned with strategic plan and geographic focus
- Generate qualified leads (qualified AWS accounts with set up discovery calls)
- Lead-to-Business conversion with net new Business
- Net new Logo %
- Pipeline growth - value of qualified and accepted opportunities
Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence
- Analysis and identification of Software One’s internal capabilities, including SWOT analysis to grow the business
- Market intelligence research to assess market trends, opportunities, trends and challenges, including key competitors and ecosystem
- Development of a strategic business planning process to align growth initiatives with demand generation, marketing and sales initiatives
- Supporting country leaders in AWS-specific market analysis to adopt AWS Services Business Model locally
- Assisting executive leadership with the implementation of corporate development strategies, including mergers and acquisitions, identification of M&A targets and JV partners, board presentations, government submissions
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to identify and deliver innovative solutions
- Success Measurement:
- Identify competitive landscape across Asia and estimate market opportunity by country
- Ongoing market intelligence input into evolving AWS Services strategy
Marketing Support
- Collaboration with Marketing to produce marketing collateral and online content that is aligned to, and enhances, demand generation strategies, including articles, blogs, infographics and case studies
- Assist Marketing and Sales in content development. Pitch presentations and marketing campaigns to target prospect clients
- Translate the features and functions of Software One’s services and products into clear business insights for the right audience at the right time with the right voice and message
- Assist Marketing and Sales teams with future-focused market insights to achieve a competitive advantage
- Training of sales personnel with prospect research strategies
- Success Measurement:
- Demand generation campaigns aligned with marketing plans across APAC; ongoing development of sales collateral to accelerate market awareness about SoftwareOne and the AWS Services practice
- Facilitating enhanced net new demand generation activities holistically
What we need to see from you
- Existing full-time work rights in either India, Malaysia or the Philippines
- Ability to travel within the APAC region or globally as needed
- At least 15 years of experience in enterprise-level research and analysis
- At least 15 years of experience in strategic business and marketing planning
- At least 10 years of experience in demand generation campaign planning
- At least 8 years of experience in technology supporting Enterprise Applications Sales
- Solid working knowledge and understanding of AWS and related technologies
- Ability to deliver high-volume, short-duration work packages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate a team attitude and leadership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders (CxO level, senior management, team members, customers, and support personnel)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with key decision-makers in a multi-cultural environment
- Able to work independently and multi-task while prioritizing and managing multiple opportunities
