Job summary

A leading steel manufacturer is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will support the implementation of sales strategies and drive revenue growth in international markets. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of proven sales experience in steel structures or scaffolding, along with at least 3 years in overseas business development. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential, and the role requires willingness to travel for site visits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the steel structure, scaffolding, or related construction and engineering industries.
  • At least 3 years of experience in overseas business development, including handling international clients, projects, or markets.
  • Strong negotiation, analysis, and communication skills.

Job description

We are representing our client, a well‑established and leading steel manufacturer specializing in Steel Grandstand Systems and Stadium Roofing solutions. They are currently seeking aTechnical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team and support their global business.

Working Day: 9:00am - 5:30pm (Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities
  • To support the implementation of sales strategies and drive revenue growth in international markets.
  • Assist in developing and focusing of sales in seating products (modular grandstand and stadium project).
  • Assist in analysis new incoming grandstand enquiry by clearly questioning the prospect (analysis phase), following by creating grandstand layout with economical proposal.
  • Assist in conducting negotiations with new prospects to secure favorable terms and conditions for sales contract.
  • Manage the entire order processing cycle including quotation, contract, payment, and delivery schedule.
Qualifications
  • Possess a Degree/ Advance Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the steel structure, scaffolding, or related construction and engineering industries.
  • At least 3 years of experience in overseas business development, including handling international clients, projects, or markets
  • Strong negotiation, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Fluent English, any other language will be a plus.
  • Solid customer service skill, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance
  • Willing to travel overseas for site visit
