Job summary

Executive, Technician - Facilities & Maintenance (Building)
  • Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
    • Perform daily and scheduled preventive maintenance for all building systems, including air-conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, mechanical and fire protection systems.
    • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform timely corrective action.
    • Ensure all preventive maintenance activities are completed according to the approved maintenance plan and standards.
    • Maintain system performance and reliability to ensure optimal building operations.
  • Repair & Installation
    • Carry out minor installation, replacement, and repair of fixtures, fittings, and building equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and repair system breakdowns and malfunctions efficiently.
    • Support contractors and vendors during major repair, installation, or project works.
    • Test and verify functionality of systems and equipment after servicing or repairs.
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Comply with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory maintenance standards.
    • Immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents to the Assistant Manager.
    • Participate in safety briefings, emergency drills, and equipment safety checks.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and service reports.
    • Record all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in the daily maintenance logbook.
    • Monitor and manage the inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, raising requests for replenishment when necessary.
  • Operational Support
    • Assist in ensuring that the building facilities operate effectively and are well-maintained at all times.
    • Respond promptly to service calls, equipment breakdowns, and maintenance complaints.
    • Provide technical support for operational and event-related activities.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless building operations.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum SPM or equivalent, with technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services.
