Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Alor Gajah, Malaysia, is looking for an Executive/Sr Executive in Supply Chain Management. The role involves planning and coordinating procurement, managing inventory levels, and liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Candidates must have 2–5 years of experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate procurement, production scheduling, and material availability to support manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and minimize shortages.
  • Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules, lead times, quality issues, and cost control.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, delivery tracking, and supplier documentation.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Procurement teams.

Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock, minimize shortages, and avoid excess inventory

Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules, lead times, quality issues, and cost control

Prepare and manage purchase orders, delivery tracking, and supplier documentation

Work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth material flow

Analyze supply chain data, demand forecasts, and consumption trends to support planning decisions

Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure production continuity

Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO/automotive standards, and regulatory requirements

Prepare regular reports on inventory status, supplier performance, and supply chain KPIs
