Job summary

A local bakery in Subang Jaya is seeking a Recruitment Executive to support strategic staffing goals and manage hiring processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in recruitment, a strong understanding of the F&B industry, and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include partnering with hiring managers, managing onboarding processes and developing recruitment campaigns. This role requires proficiency in MS Office and the ability to multitask effectively.

Executive / Senior Executive, Recruitment

Support the recruitment function on strategic staffing goals to attract, develop and retain a high-quality diverse workforce. Recruiting jobs for Christine Bakery HQ and operations. Model and act in accordance with Christine guiding principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Partners with hiring managers to anticipate and deliver recruitment requirements based on future business needs and expectations; and implements all recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, conducting interviews, selection, employment checks, job offer, etc.

Identifies sourcing channels to ensure a high volume and high quality candidate pipeline such as referral program, online platforms, campus outreach, collaboration with learning/education institutions, recruitment agencies, networking, etc.

Manages the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process including background checks, preparation of offer letters, conducting onboarding for new hires, periodic check-ins to ensure an efficient and seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

Works with HRM to develop and establish key performance factors, desired behavioral competencies, interview criteria, etc.

Develops and implements recruitment marketing campaigns on various print and media platforms to elevate company’s brand and attract talent.

Tracks recruitment KPIs and compiles recruitment-related reports.

Trains and leads team members and ensures hiring processes are in compliance with company policies and labor laws.

Has working experience in handling foreign worker management, which may include:

  • Work permit/employment pass application, insurance and other benefits administration.
  • Maintenance of HR data of foreign worker.
  • Liaise with cross functional teams and third parties related to hostel/lodging, transportation and other matters.

Implement and support hiring activities and events which include attending career fairs, sourcing and deployment of seasonal gig workers or casual labor.

Performs other ad hoc hiring duties when required. Short-term hiring assignments will also be assigned from time to time.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the area of recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of the F&B/retail/customer service industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint with good presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain high level of discretion in handling and maintaining confidential information.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management administration.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to travel across Malaysia.
