A retail management company is seeking an Assist Manager for leasing in shopping malls. The role involves sourcing and securing retail tenants, conducting market research, and providing leasing documentation support. Candidates should have 1-4 years of experience in leasing, a relevant Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills. This position offers opportunities for growth within the management team. Assist Manager to source and secure shopping malls’ retail space tenants and to meet leasing targets.
To assist in conducting market research, in keeping-up with market trends and compile information from potential retailers.
Assist in implementation of shopping malls’ leasing strategies and in preparation of weekly/monthly reports.
Assist in the annual budget planning process.
Responsible to show prospective tenants available shopping malls’ space to lease and to response to all leasing enquiries.
Upon the confirmation of the lease by prospective tenant, responsible to follow through with all the necessary documents and procedures from preparation of documents for management’s approval to collecting the executed documents and rental deposits.
From time to time, may require to response to tenants’ grievance or enquiries and to improve tenant relationship and build up network with potential tenants.
To monitor tenants sales performance and to provide recommendations when necessary.
Ensure all leasing documentation are in good order.
Require to work closely with internal departments such as Finance,Marketing, Fit Out & Operation team and also provide support.
To adhere to Leasing SOP & KPI at all time.
At least minimum of 1-4 years working experience as a Leasing member in a Shopping Mall.
Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Real Estate Management, Property Development or its equivalent.
Must be computer literacy and competent in writing business letters & proposals.
Have good communications skills especially oral and written communication in English.
Positive, resourceful, quick learner, good teamwork but able to work independently and able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
Suitable candidates will be considered for position ranging from Executive to Senior Executive
Suitable candidates will be placed either at the mall management team or at the group level.
