Job summary

A leading cable manufacturer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Executive to develop and implement sales strategies aimed at achieving the company's sales targets. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the cable industry and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities include providing product information, conducting market research, and building relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction. Knowledge of cable products is essential. Language skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 years of sales & marketing experience within the cable or related electrical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cable products, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to sales enquiries and provide product information to customers.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and enhance brand visibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand customer base or prospects.

Attend to sales enquiries by furnishing product information, such as usage, application, price movements, and other developments to customers and prospects; arrange site visits and sales demonstrations; and follow up with prospects until the closing of sales.

Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance brand visibility.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Responsible for collections and credit control, and for preparing sales forecasts and reports for meetings and management information.

Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients as required.

Required to comply with any additional duties and assignments as and when necessary.

Job Requirements

Possess a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of sales & marketing working experiences within the cable or related electrical industry.

Strong knowledge of cable products, specifications, and industry standards.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (added advantage)
