Job Description:
Resort Management:
- Assists Resort Manager in managing employees, contractors and other service providers/ suppliers,
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Campus – provide excellent guest services and ensure issues are resolved promptly, and ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety standards
- Collaborate with all relevant departments to develop and execute promotions and packages for the Campus.
- Ensure active coordination with all parties involved i.e. housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, etc, for corporate and private bookings
- Prepare financial statements/ reports on the events conducted at the Campus.
- Suggest improvement plans for resort operations
Administrative and Maintenance Support :
- Coordinate with various parties to ensure repairs/ maintenance issues are resolved promptly.
- Prepare internal reports, approval papers/ requests as and when required for further consideration/ approval by the appropriate parties/ approving authorities.
- Relationship building and interact with local authorities to meet operational requirements, fact finding and general advice on compliance matters.
- Monitor the expiry and renewal of all related licenses/ registration/ approvals held by the Campus
- Monitor the expiry/ renewal and sourcing timeline of all purchase contracts entered into by the Campus (excluding central/ framework agreements).
Finance and Procurement:
- Assist to manage budget and assist to prepare timely and accurate income and expenses forecasts for all profit centres
- Assist the implementation of cost-effective sourcing strategies and identify long term strategic partnerships with competent local vendors.
- Receive and process invoices for GHC expenses for finance payment and liaise with tax and finance on related issues.
- Conduct end-to-end sourcing requirements for the Campus for both OPEX and CAPEX in compliance with the GPPA.
- Prepare sourcing documents, purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO), eCapex requirements, etc. for any purchases as and when required and ensure that deliveries are as per request and specifications
- Active coordination with vendors to ensure timely execution and within approved/ allocated budget.
- Vendor performance review for contract/ OVR renewal
Requirement:
- Degree in any field (preferably in hospitality management/ business admin is an added advantage).
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
- Preferably 1 - 3 years experience in hospitality/ facility management capacity, or other relevant experience.
- Candidates are expected to arrange their own accommodation.
- The incumbent will help to manage Golden Hope Campus.
- Willing to work in Port Dickson.
- Open to a 1-year contract.
