A government agency is seeking an Executive for the Regulatory and Compliance Unit in Bintulu, Sarawak. The role entails managing compliance activities, addressing public complaints, and collaborating with stakeholders and law enforcement agencies. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field along with 1-4 years of experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Responsible for facilitating and executing the operations of the Regulatory and Compliance Unit to ensure all compliance activities, complaint handling, and other regulatory functions at the branch level, including ad hoc tasks, are well managed and adhere to SOPs and guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
Effectively address and resolve public complaints in line with SOP and regulations.
Facilitate and conduct consumer awareness programmes to stakeholders (public and government agencies) pertaining to CMA.
Assist in providing technical assistance and managing appropriate recommendations to address and resolve identified issues to other law enforcement agencies and engage in inter‑agency collaboration efforts.
Handle complaint management system and interaction with other complaint system including ICMS, Talikhidmat, CFM etc.
Assist Region Enforcement Unit in conducting and coordinating preliminary information gathering and other investigation activities.
Support cross unit activities for onsite inspections, audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
Maintain operational records and evidence repositories at Branch level to support audits.
Prepare compliance reports to support branch and HQ decision making.
Monitor complaint trends to identify recurring issues that need escalation.
Conduct compliance checks to verify service provider adherence to regulatory requirements.
Qualification & Work Experience
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Qualifications in Law / Business Administration/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 1-4 years work experience.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
