About the role

As an Executive - Purchasing, you are responsible for end-to-end procurement activities including issuing POs, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting project operations across departments.

What you'll be doing

• Issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs) based on requests within the required lead time.
• Ensure timely acknowledgment and delivery from suppliers.
• Monitor outstanding POs and follow up with suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, lead time, minimum order quantity (MOQ), and payment terms.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain backup supplier options.
• Verify invoices against POs before submitting to Accounts.
• Maintain accurate ERP records; escalate any required changes.
• Handle returns and defective item claims.
• Provide alternatives or lead times for out-of-stock items.
• Coordinate with internal teams for purchasing, packing, and delivery.
• Update monthly procurement reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
