Job summary

A leading property development company in Seri Manjung, Malaysia, is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in project development and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with authorities, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with standards and requirements. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience are required. Fresh graduates with internship experience are also encouraged to apply.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist Manager in all matters pertaining to project liaison and project development processes.
  • Assist in plan and specification analysis in order to provide clear, trackable, and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings for construction.
  • Liaise with relevant authority bodies to ensure project obtain the necessary and required approvals within the scheduled time frame.
  • Liaise and coordinate with consultants on progression of work to ensure assigned project achieve on time.
  • Liaise with consultants and relevant authority bodies in order to get development approvals until Certificate Completion and Compliance (CCC).
  • Periodically update the team on work progress for presentation to the Management.
  • Liaise with other Departments at meetings with relevance to project operations to ensure time and cost plans are updated to reflect latest information.
  • Attend to site inspections whenever needed pertaining to authority bodies approval and project management.
  • Liaise with all the consultants in expediting drawings and related information.
  • Monitor field work, including contract work, to ensure compliance with company standards & requirements, procedures, specifications and codes.
  • Monitor project cost and schedule performance including providing project cost and schedule control when needed.
  • Ensure completion of final project documentations & other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or any equivalent discipline from a recognised higher learning institution.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience / internship exposure in property project development with exposure dealing with authorities.
  • Knowledgeable in Property Project Planning and construction management from any property development company.
  • Possess good skill in planning and supervision.
  • Understand the detail drawings, standard and work program and able to understand process of Inspection & requirement.
  • Independence and able to meet deadlines.
  • Fresh Graduate with internship in any housing developer also are welcome to take up junior role.
