Job Description:

• Assist in leading, managing and supervising the operators in the daily operations of refining plants, fractionation plants, supporting plants and tank farm in the aspects of production, Quality, Food Safety, RSPO, ESH & FSSC.
• Ensure sufficient competent manpower and resources for smooth plant operations and at optimum plant utilization.
• Ensure the production plants are run efficiently as per production program or planning to meet the customers’ need and demand through daily briefing with operators.
• Interact, coordinate, disseminate and implement the production program/planning weekly for all confirmed orders received.
• Responsible for scheduling and reporting the product and process development projects/trials.
• Ensure executives are monitoring production plants are run as per standard process conditions and the qualities of products are within control limit. Any deviations on quality shall be reported to the HOD, QC and Manager, Production. Vigorously involve in brainstorming and lead to solve the quality issue immediately with low supervision.
• Arrange and ensure good coordination with Maintenance Department for plant shutdown for annual statutory machinery inspection or planned maintenance, housekeeping. To conduct Weekly coordination meeting between Maintenance team and production to solve maintenance issue with recorded minutes.
• Ensure good housekeeping and good manufacturing practices requirements are implemented in the plants.
• Initiate, investigate and rectify on any non-conformances or deviations with regard to process conditions, product quality, customer complaint, audit findings, etc with proper root cause analysis and institute the corrective and preventive action and reply to HOD, QC and Manager, Production for further action and assisted by executive.
• Initiate, implement, maintain and prepare for audit e.g ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, GCAD, PSQM Audit & HACCP in the processing plants including the maintenance of the documents and records.
• Ensure proper disposal of non-conforming products as recommended by the HOD, QC or Chemist.
• Ensure all the work procedures, company rules and regulations are adhered to by all the operators and executives. To conduct regular training to sustain the compliance by staffs.
• Ensure implementation of the duty roster for the operators of each plant.
• Verify plant report and compile all the reports related to production and assisted by clerk and executives.
• Lead and sustain and improve performance of refinery and fractionation plant e.g KPI, ESH, CIP, RPI, production target, plant operations maximization, quality standards.
• Prepare Annual plan for superior approval for refinery and fractionation plant and assisted by executives e.g annual budgets (AOP, Mplan, Capex, Opex).
• Identifies and evaluates potential new product development, new facility, new technologies and other related activities to support the refinery and fractionation plant and Company’s business objectives.
