Job summary

A leading automotive company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to enhance dealer engagement and oversee promotional activities. The role involves gathering market insights and ensuring effective communication with dealers. Candidates should hold a Diploma, have sales networking experience, and preferably knowledge in the automotive industry. Proficiency in Mandarin, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to travel are essential. The position covers various regions including Klang Valley and East Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and report market information and dealer feedback.
  • Promote wholesale and retail activities of products.
  • Plan and schedule dealer visits in assigned territory.
  • Monitor dealer activities and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Negotiate with financial institutions for promotions.

Gathering and reporting of competitors’ market information, activities and dealers’ feedback.

Promote the wholesales & retail of company products as well as direct customers’ promotion activities.

Plan and schedule dealer visit within own territory.

Dealer visit to develop and monitor Dealers’ activities, problem solving and follow-up outstanding matter.

Ensure good and effective communication with dealers and resolve outstanding matters with dealers.

Monitor and review CKD and CBU incentive programs & dealers activities/programs.

Oversee the concept shop dealer's well being.

Monitor the achievement of assigned Dealers’ wholesale and retail sales based on Annual Target Agreement (ATA)

Recommend marketing activities for Dealer to achieve wholesale and retail sales.

To negotiate financial institution and insurance companies for the sales and promotion activities.

Monitor and control of Dealers’ monthly ordering and stock movement.

Any other tasks assigned by the company as and when required.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in any field.

Experience in the dealers sales networking.

Possess knowledge and working experience in automotive industry will be an added value.

Ability to build rapport with all dealers and customer for better engagement and sales opportunities.

Fresh graduates or those with sales experience in other field of industry is encouraged to apply.

Able to converse in various languages would be an added advantage.

Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage

Able to communicate with different level of people.

Able to travel outstation, work extended hours and participate in weekend events.

Excel supervision, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Pleasant, customer-oriented and outgoing personality.

Ability to ride motorcycle is an advantage.
