Scope of Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, coordinate and review maintenance plans and schedules related to Electrical and Electronic aspects for the highway.
- Coordinate and prepare the Electrical & Electronic unit annual budget for the upcoming fiscal year and monitor the ongoing usage of budget allocation for the current year.
- Advise on evaluation and selection, participate in the testing and commissioning of new equipment and carry out any required repair or modification of existing equipment.
- Monitor, review and coordinate the supervision of maintenance works, third party works and any other works related to Electrical & Electronic which have direct or indirect impact on the highway.
- Monitor and review the performance and quality of Electrical & Electronic aspects of the highway. Responsible to recommend, plan and coordinate mitigation measures on any arising cases of performance and quality problems.
- Plan, develop, prepare and review work systems such as procedures, work instructions and forms for the Electrical & Electronic unit. Responsible to monitor compliance, analyze and report the implementation of work system in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Plan, coordinate and execute inspections on the Electrical & Electronic components of the highway at suitable regular cycles or as required.
- Plan, coordinate and implement the collection of necessary data, conduct analysis and prepare reports either regular monthly reports to authority or any other required reports.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct meetings, regular or on demand, related to Electrical & Electronic issues with contractors, local authorities or third parties.
- Responsible for planning, distribution, allocation, monitoring and supervision of resources for the Electrical & Electronic unit such as subordinate staff, vehicles, equipment etc.
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors, third parties or authorities in any case of third‑party works within or adjacent to expressway vicinity.
- Continually develop and improve the maintenance system for expressway.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff, identify their needs and establish their goals, recommend orientation, courses or training for career development.
- To comply with all Prolintas’s management systems and legal requirements at all times pertaining to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Undertake any other duties necessary as directed by Manager.
Qualifications
- Basic University Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Experience
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Skills Required
- Report writing, supervisory, PC literate
