Job summary

A leading trading company in Selangor is looking for a Demand Planner to analyze sales data and forecast future demand. Your role involves collaborating with sales and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and possess strong analytical skills. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. 1. Demand Forecasting

• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast future demand.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing team to gather input for demand planning.
• Adjust forecasts based on market conditions and promotional activities.

2. Replenishment Planning

• Determine optimal order quantities and reorder points.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues affecting inventory availability.

3. Replenishment Planning

• Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock analysis.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and recommend actions.
• Analyze and report on inventory performance metrics such as turnover rates, fill rates, and stock accuracy.
• Identify and implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to align inventory levels with operational needs.
• Participate in new product launch planning and inventory setup.
• Communicate inventory status and potential issues to relevant stakeholders.
