Job summary

A leading Gas company in Shah Alam is seeking a Governance and Integrity officer to develop and implement effective governance frameworks and integrity programs. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Compliance or related fields and have 2-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include coordinating the Anti-Corruption Plan, assisting in risk assessments, and conducting audits to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in governance and integrity, with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least CGPA of 3.00.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in integrity & governance or risk management.
  • Willingness to learn about ABAC principles and governance standards.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Governance – coordinate the ongoing development and implementation of an effective framework, corporate policies and procedures to ensure accountability, transparency and legal compliance.
  • Assist in the coordination, supervision, and assessment of integrity programs/training to foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour within the organization.
  • Develop and prepare a comprehensive Anti-Corruption Plan that outlines practical measures to address corruption at Gas Malaysia.
  • Assist the Head, Integrity and Governance in carrying out Corruption Risk Assessments.
  • Coordinate and conduct Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) audit.
  • Provide authoritative advisory and consultancy services in respect of workforce integrity matters, including compliance with organisational policies, legislation and other relevant requirements.
  • Conduct briefings to employees to ensure awareness of changes in policies and processes.
  • Develop solid relationships with organization management to increase their awareness of corruption, power abuse, misconduct, and violations of integrity.
  • Execute continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Compliance / Governance & Ethics / Social Sciences / Risk Management / Accounting / Business Administration or a related field with at least CGPA 3.00/above.
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience in integrity & governance roles, risk management or related areas.
  • Exposure to ABAC, anti-fraud, or governance functions through internships, academic projects, or coursework is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of ABAC principles, governance requirements, and auditing standards, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Strong interest in integrity, governance, and compliance functions, with a positive, professional, and result-oriented attitude.
