The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a global partnership to make palm oil sustainable.Today, the RSPO is a global, non‑profit organisation with over 6,000 voluntary members across 104 countries and territories, representing every link in the supply chain: oil palm producers, palm oil processors and traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, environmental or nature conservation non‑governmental organisations (NGOs), and social or developmental NGOs.

The Executive, Integrity supports the execution and monitoring of RSPO’s integrity, compliance, and assurance‑related activities to strengthen the credibility of the RSPO Assurance System. The role provides operational and administrative support for the Assurance Standing Committee (ASC), including preparing minutes and reports, maintaining shared documentation, and coordinating follow‑up actions. The Executive also facilitates preliminary reviews of New Planting Procedure (NPP) and Land Use Risk Identification (LURI) submissions, provides responses to PalmGHG and NPP‑related inquiries through shared inboxes, contributes to assurance communications, and supports appraisal and monitoring activities related to the accreditation body.

The location of this role is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Provide operational and administrative support for the Assurance Standing Committee (ASC), including compiling materials, drafting minutes and reports, and updating information across shared drives and public platforms.
  • Conduct preliminary reviews for New Planting Procedure (NPP) submissions, Land Use Risk Identification (LURI), and cases where NPP is not applicable.
  • Respond to email queries received through shared inboxes (PalmGHG, NPP Submission, and NPP Comments), ensuring timely responses and flagging matters for escalation as needed.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for the appraisal of the accreditation body, monitoring progress of joint workplans, and maintaining updated records for
  • Draft assurance and integrity communication materials, including ASC‑related articles, Integrity Highlights, website updates, and other stakeholder contents.
  • Keep abreast of assurance‑related developments by reviewing relevant materials and participating in internal and external learning activities. Support cross‑functional initiatives aimed at strengthening the RSPO assurance system.
  • Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned from time to time.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
Education
  • University degree preferably in environmental studies, sustainability, social sciences, communications, or a related discipline.
Experience
  • Prior experience, whether through internships or formal employment, in assurance, sustainability, compliance, data management or communications will be an added advantage.

Technical and Professional Knowledge
  • Excellent command of English, with strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management
  • Proficient in using G‑Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, write, and produce high‑quality reports.
  • Proven capacity to multitask and manage multiple projects and assignments across various divisions.
