A leading insurance management company in Malaysia is looking for a qualified professional to manage and track insurance claims. Responsibilities include coordinating training sessions, contributing to process improvements, and ensuring compliance with group policies. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years of experience in insurance functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Manage and track insurance claims, including securing Discharge Vouchers, coordinating with brokers and insurers, monitoring settlement progress and preparing periodic claims reports.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives involving insurance processes, SOP enhancements and reporting systems.
Coordinate and assist in organising insurance-related training and knowledge sharing sessions for both internal and external stakeholders.
Support the management and monitoring of the Group Insurance Program to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with Group policies and procedures.
Assist in coordinating the Centralised Renewal Exercise for GLGIP, CSGIP and EBGIP across the Group.
Follow up with Appointed Brokers on the renewal status of GLGIP, CSGIP and EBGIP.
Assist in the development, improvement and maintenance of the GIS System, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
Provide administrative and technical support for departmental processes, documentation and operational needs.
Coordinate and assist Risk Surveyors in conducting risk surveys at selected Group locations.
Liaise with brokers, insurers, loss adjusters and Participating Companies (PCs) on insurance related matters.
Serve as a key point of reference for corporate insurance matters within the Group.
Bachelor Degree in Insurance, Accounting, Finance, Business Studies or equivalent.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in insurance functions.
Experience in claims management is an added advantage.
Possession of Asian Institute of Insurance (AII) certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with solid data analysis and presentation capabilities.
Good understanding of General & Liability Insurance principles, policy terms, exclusions, and intermediate experience in handling related claims processes.
Able to communicate clearly with internal teams and external parties such as brokers, insurers, adjusters, and operating companies.
Detail-oriented, analytical, accurate and ensures timely processing, reporting, and data management within the GIS system.
Proactive, independent, adaptable, able to multitask, and works well under pressure with minimal supervision.
Coordinates insurance-related training and engagements, working closely with internal departments and external partners to support effective insurance management.
