• Bachelor's degree in Network Administration, Information Technology, Network Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience managing IT Infrastructure including servers and networking hardware.

Job description

Supporting and maintaining the IT infrastructure and business application systems for the Central and Eastern regions, including batching plants and HQ operations.

Ensures the stability, security, and reliability of Windows servers, network infrastructure and IT assets. By providing operational support and assisting in IT project implementation, this role contributes directly to ensuring continuous business operations and improving overall system performance within the Central and Eastern regions.

Job Responsibilities

1. Act as the System Administrator for Windows Servers and provide both front‑end and back‑end support to ensure stable and reliable day‑to‑day IT operations for the Central and Eastern regions.
2. Support and maintain LAN, WAN, and converged network infrastructure to ensure continuous connectivity and optimal network performance across supported sites.
3. Implement and monitor preventive maintenance for data center equipment (servers, UPS, cooling systems) to ensure all equipment remains operational, secure, and resilient for business continuity.
4. Perform and monitor server backup and recovery procedures, ensuring compliance with approved IT policies and disaster recovery standards.
5. Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date inventory of IT hardware, communication equipment, and software licenses, ensuring audit compliance and lifecycle control.
6. Execute security updates, antivirus deployment, and patch management for servers, PCs, and network devices to reduce vulnerabilities and strengthen cyber defense posture.
7. Provide first‑level support for key business applications (e.g., ROSS, optimalOne, readyOne, MS Office), resolving issues and escalating appropriately to minimize operational interruption.
8. Assist the Head of Infrastructure in planning and executing IT projects for Batching Plant and HQ operations and support the maintenance of Disaster Recovery servers located at Data Center to ensure readiness during outages.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Administration, Information Technology, Network Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 – 4 Years of Experience, managing IT Infrastructure including Servers, Networking Hardware (routers, switches, firewalls), storage system and data center operation.
• Strong hands‑on skills in LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices, with proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and execute ICT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
