JOB DESCRIPTION

- This role requires strong system management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support daily system operations effectively including monitoring performance, coordinating enhancements, and resolving user issues to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.
- Candidates are expected to work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve report-related issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Integration & Batch Job Monitoring
- Implement, monitor and maintain automation of data integration, delivery and ingestion.
- Monitor batch job execution and data delivery status and consult user for any activities related to scheduled batch jobs/ utilities or reporting tools.
- Monitor data delivery medium for any troubleshooting and possible enhancement for better experience of end user and higher efficiency in delivering data or reports.
System Support Services
- Provide technical support for data systems, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Provide consultation on system functionalities and assist users with system-related queries.
- Work with IT and software vendors to manage system updates, upgrades, and patches.
- Ensure system availability and performance by performing regular system monitoring and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Resolve tickets raised via investment helpdesk portal and provide regular update to supervisor.
- Ensure that all system-related issues (e.g. Problem Log/Change Request) that are received from business users are documented in a systematic manner.
- Conduct necessary statistics for issues related to specific scheduled jobs and interfaces utilities either raised by business user or the team.
- Advise business rules maintenance such as creating, updating and modifying the security master files, portfolio characteristics, market data, fees etc.
Collaboration & Business Technical Consultations
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify business requests
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding.
- Coordinate test planning between business users and relevant parties (e.g. vendor, consultant, IT Dept.) when required.
- Update manual operation, working instructions, automation templates, documentation and paperwork related to report development.
- Provide continuous and excellence supports for any projects/initiatives carried out by the department or organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Finance/ Mathematics/ Financial Engineering/ Business Management or other related qualifications that recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
- Having background in the field of data analytics/ data visualization and project management.
- Knowledge in programming (SQL Query, Power Pivot, Power Query Language), database management
- Knowledge in visualization tools (Power BI)
- Knowledge of financial instruments, market data, and investment operations.
- Ability to leverage technology and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business conditions or technological advancements.

- Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including an oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
