Job description
  • Plan, manage, and monitor compliance activities and tasks to ensure that Airport Engineering at Malaysia Airports operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as internal policies, standards, and engineering best practices. This is to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
  • To oversee compliance activities and tasks, ensuring engineering units adhere to local and international regulations and legislation, such as Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), DOSH, DOE, SIRIM, CAAM etc., for safe and efficient airport operations and maintenance.
  • Assist the IMS Coordinator with activities and tasks related to the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ISO standards.
  • Plan and execute audit plans, conduct audits, review audit responses and reports, and monitor quality improvement plans for Engineering.
  • Compile, manage and maintain all procedures, forms and guidelines for the Engineering Division.
  • Assist the Risk Coordinator in conducting risk assessments, HIRARC/HIRAO and Aspect & Impact Assessment.
  • Benchmark against industry best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Actively engage with relevant stakeholders to build strategic collaborations that enhance Engineering business performance, including exploring new business opportunities.
  • Facilitate compliance-related submissions and renewals of licenses, certifications, and registrations.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies to effectively plan future enhancements and efficiency improvements for the assigned airport systems and facilities.
  • Oversee license and certificate tracking for the Engineering units/ airports, ensuring renewals, new validity, and pending issues are addressed.
