A leading technology organization located in Malaysia is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Manager responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings and infrastructure. The role includes planning, organizing, and supervising maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have experience in facility management, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate technical staff. This position is crucial for maintaining a safe and conducive working environment.
Ensure the maintenance, repair, and upgrading (including utilities and cost savings) of SIRIM Berhad’s buildings, infrastructure, M&E systems, and specific equipment within approved budgets, schedules, and standards.
Plan, organize, monitor, streamline (via process and system reengineering), coordinate, negotiate, problem‑solve, guide, and support all maintenance activities.
Coordinate, direct, and supervise Supporting Staff (Principal Technicians, Senior Technicians, Technicians, Chargemen, Wiremen, Administrative Assistants, and General Workers) in compliance with the Electricity Supply Act 1990 (Act 447).
Maintain all facilities to ensure a safe and conducive working environment for staff.
