Job summary

A leading investment banking firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Analyst to gather requirements, document them in Agile User Stories format, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT). The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Computer Science, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Figma, and Confluence is preferred. This position requires a meticulous approach to tracking tasks and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in agile project delivery.
• Knowledge of computer programming is an added advantage.
• Meticulous in tracking project tasks and good follow-up.

Job description

Job Descriptions:

• Requirement gathering from product owners & SMEs, ensure requirements mapped through feasibility of operations processes and technical optimization with relevant Ops & Tech PICs.
• Requirement documentation via Agile User Stories format on JIRA platform, ensure requirement statuses updated onto Kanban board and reviewed by workstream lead(s)
• UAT Test case & test script writing, coordinate UAT executions and defect management reporting up to closure of defects for comprehensive UAT sign off by product owners
• Attend to Daily Stand-Up (DSU) to report planned and in-progress tasks’ statuses, highlight any or potential impediments or obstacles hindering completion of task
• Update statuses of task items on JIRA, Figma, Confluence, ensure clear and transparent communication across Project Working Committee (PWC).

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree/ Professional Qualification in Finance / Business Administration / Computer Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge on computer programming is an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Meticulous in tracking and good follow-up.
• Proficient in Ms Outlook, Ms Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
• Experience working with JIRA, Figma & Confluence tools are plus points.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as business analyst, experienced in agile project delivery will be additional advantage.
