Job summary

A leading logistics provider is seeking to hire an individual to manage trucking services for clients, focusing on both domestic and international road freight. The candidate must have at least a diploma and 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry. Responsibilities include processing shipments, developing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant authorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are essential. This position is located in Medini Iskandar, Johor.

Job description

The incumbent is to manage trucking services for clients – both Domestic and International Road Freight.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process shipments as per respective SOP
  • Manage and monitor Transport (Cartage/CTG) operations
  • To process files and execute shipments and follow through in timely manner for ITR/AC, apart from that also process shipments for AFR/CDZ.
  • Responsible to achieving customer target/KPI and expectations.
  • Develop customer relationships with existing & new customers
  • Handle on daily inquiry & complaint to Internal & external customers communication.
  • Ensuring highest degree of good service given to customers
  • To support and tackle customers escalations in timely manner.
  • Review current vendor performance - Truckers.
  • Monitor & manage vendor cost and performance consistently
  • Request plastic seal from security
  • Meeting with SG/MY ITR requirements /expectation
  • ACR Update monitoring / as per request for billing purpose
  • Monitoring KPI (Timestamp) - DCF & PCF
  • Understand & review trucking mapping process in CW1
  • Provide cost for ad hoc arrangement / additional lane
  • Running RFQ with procurement
  • Managing transport query & escalations
  • To ensure that any other work related duties given is completed within the specified timeline.
  • To ensure compliance to customers and others relevant authorities and operating instructions.
  • To manage, monitor and ensure proper filing for the job completed.
  • To achieve a good result in internal & external audits.
  • Liaising with product head & regional for initiatives, project implementation & strategies
  • To perform any other job functions and tasks as delegated by superior.
Requirements:
  • At least Diploma in any field.
  • With minimum 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding industry especially in road freight.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Additional skillsets required: detailed oriented, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Able to work in a fast pace and challenging environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • This position is located in Medini Iskandar, Johor.
