We are looking for a Communications Specialist to support our team in delivering clear, engaging, and consistent communications across SEA and Group Services. This is a hands‑on role for an early‑career professional with a passion for communications, creative design, and video production.
He/She will contribute to the broader communications teams through initiatives, produce quality collateral, and content. He/She will help strengthen our overall employee engagement, branding, while gaining valuable exposure to our global communications team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day coordination and administrative support to the Communications team.
- Maintain communications calendars, distribution lists, and contact databases.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of logistics for communications initiatives such as townhalls, campaigns, and events (venue, invites, materials, vendor liaison).
- Manage trackers for deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Support with procurement (purchase orders, invoices, budget tracking).
- Organize and maintain shared folders, templates, and assets.
- Assist in the brainstorming and drafting content for internal channels including email, intranet, mobile apps, organization-platforms, dashboards, etc.
- Create videos and digital content internally with templates (employee stories, leadership messages, EVP/values campaigns, event highlights).
- Prepare simple monthly communications reports.
- Provide support for Branding and Marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with global teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degrees in Communications or Business/Marketing related fields are welcome to apply.
- Strong written and spoken English skills are required. Proficiency in other regional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Thai, or Vietnamese) would be an advantage.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organization, and to thrive in a fast‑paced working environment.
- Comfortable creating and adapting content for different audiences.
- Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross‑functional teams.
- Self‑starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself / herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A positive team player with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, eager to learn and contribute.
- Skilled with design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) preferred.
- Skilled in video editing and production using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software preferred.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (especially Slides), and comfortable working with Google Suite of Services, and intranet platforms.
