A prominent automotive e-commerce platform in Malaysia is seeking an Executive for Corporate Affairs. This role involves building relationships with Government and Business stakeholders, coordinating projects to enhance partnerships, and addressing regulatory challenges. CARSOME is the largest integrated car e-commerce platform in South East Asia offering end-to-end automotive solutions, from car discovery, buying, selling, listing, financing, insurance, servicing and repairs, to automotive TVET education. The Corporate Affairs team is the touch point between CARSOME and all relevant external stakeholders such as Government and Business stakeholders. The Executive, Corporate Affairs role is responsible to support the Regional Director of Corporate Affairs in the execution and implementation of strategies to:
Your Day-to-Day
Be the bridge between key Government and Business stakeholders and CARSOME.
Responsible for coordinating, executing, and implementing key partnerships/ projects with Government and Business stakeholders.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Build and enhance CARSOME’s relationship with relevant Government and Business stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage visits, meetings, and engagements between CARSOME and key Government or Business stakeholders (e.g. CEOs, C-levels, Ministers, Heads of Agencies).
Identify potential areas of partnership between CARSOME and the Government / Business Stakeholders and to manage/coordinate the partnerships
Remove bottlenecks to growth for CARSOME by engaging relevant regulatory stakeholders.
Your Know How :
Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in any field (preferably Public Relations, Communications, or related)
Strong networking and project management background.
Prior experience in Corporations, Government, Government-related consultancies, or Government related roles in the private sector (Public policy, Gov Relations, Public Affairs) would be appreciated.
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Strong networking, persuasion, presentation, communications, coordination, execution, and implementation skills.
Solid understanding of how to networking, communicating, and coordinating execution of partnerships.
