Job summary

Job Description
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack) to ensure system health and performance visibility.
  • Stay current with evolving AWS technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and cost optimization strategies.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to critical infrastructure incidents to ensure 24/7 uptime for production environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages for infrastructure and tool integration.
  • Understand and manage APIs and API Gateway, including securing and scaling API‑based services.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
