Job description

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Responsible for the successful delivery of business intelligence information to the entire organization and is experienced in BI development and implementations, data architecture and data warehousing.
• Responsible for monitoring and tuning queries and data loads addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues.
• Manage and fulfil management's expectations & requirements to support business growth and objectives.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications by plan, create coordinate, and deploy data warehouses.
• Design, build and deploy Bl solutions (e.g. reporting tools) and design end user interface.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. Micro Strategy).
• Develop data architecture, data modelling, and mapping solutions within structured data warehouse environment.
• Facilitate requirements gathering using expert listening skills and develop unique simple solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of business customers.
• Develop reporting applications and data warehouse consistency.
• Support the development and validation required through the lifecycle of the Business Intelligence systems maintain user connectivity, and provide adequate security for data warehouse.
• Monitor the Bl systems performance and integrity provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in computer engineering, computer science or its equivalent in related IT field.
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ET L (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Familiarity with Bl technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power Bl).
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
