Job Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Drive sales of Caterpillar Industrial Engines and Generator Aftermarket Business across all branches.
- Prepare regular sales reports and assist in forecasting and planning activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and support branches in achieving sales goals.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account plans to achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer performance data, and competitor activities to support business growth strategies.
- Maintain regular market updates to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with branches to gather and share market insights.
Information & Resource Management
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date library of sales, product, technical, and promotional materials.
- Act as a central resource for SDI functional areas, providing timely support to sales teams.
Product Support & Promotions
- Promote parts campaigns, programs, and nationwide promotions.
- Carry out product support sales functions and other tasks assigned by management.
- Assist branches in meeting budgeted sales and collection targets.
Training & Development
- Conduct CAT Care Schools and product training for customers and Product Support Specialists (PSSs).
- Support branches in implementing sales plans and addressing product-related issues.
Business Development & Service Growth
- Identify and expand sales opportunities in non-Cat parts and services.
- Collaborate with the Service Department to enhance service merchandising and parts sales.
Customer Support Programs
- Actively promote support programs such as S.O.S, CTS, MIP, and EIP.
- Strengthen customer engagement through Cat Care Training and Customer Support Agreements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Service, Parts Operations, and Sales teams to align strategies.
- Contribute to the growth of the company’s total product support activities.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in parts sales, preferably within the heavy equipment, industrial engines, or power generation industry.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Engines will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with strong business acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM or ERP systems.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
