Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with Project Manager to manage project scope, schedules, cost, risks, and quality commitments.
Provide technical leadership throughout the NPI and custom project lifecycle for EV charging and energy storage/conversion solutions.
Review, validate, and optimize solution designs, layouts, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and value added to customers.
Maintain and continuously improve internal technical standards, document control processes, and data management systems.
Serve as a mentor and primary technical resource for junior solution architects.
Ensure all engineering outputs comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead technical aspects in pre-sales activities, including providing inputs for System configuration and software architecture, Statements of Work (SoWs), and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
Work in partnership with the Regulatory team to ensure product compliance with safety and certification standards.
Participate in design reviews and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in EV charging and energy storage/conversion technologies.
Involve in the company at tradeshows, customer training sessions, and webinars.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the EV charging or power conversion industry.
Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g. IEC 61851, ISO 15118) and the ability to translate requirements into design specifications and corresponding test plans/cases.
Familiarity with system‑level manufacturing processes and test setup requirements.
At least 2 years of experience supporting presales technical activities and engaging with customers.
Proven ability to independently develop effective test solution proposals.
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
