A leading agricultural management firm seeks a Field Operations Manager to oversee operations in Bintulu, Sarawak. This role demands at least 8-10 years of management experience in the palm oil sector, handling operations, staffing, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma related to agriculture or plantation management and possess strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills. Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.

Responsible for field operations, maintenance, upkeep, harvesting, transportation & infrastructure

Implementing & maintaining good agricultural practices according to the Company’s directions

To look into cost control & budgeting

Ensuring field operations are appropriately staffed & labour requirement set

Working to maximise the production quality of fresh fruit bunch (FFB)

Regular communication & preparation of Reports to head office.

Planning & implementing work schedule to achieve goals and targets

To conduct close monitoring and to ensure that all operations and activities within the Estate are according to the practice and guidelines provided by the Company

Requirements:

Preferably a candidate who possess a Degree/ Diploma in Agricultural Science/ Forestry / Plantation Management or related discipline.

Candidates without tertiary education but with hands on experience will be considered.

A proactive, detailed oriented, dynamic leader & team player with good analytical, problem solving, communication & interpersonal skills.

Preferred languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa English, Bahasa Indonesia would be an added advantage

At least 8-10 years of hands on working experience in palm oil estate and management and is familiar with field operational management

Able to effectively communicate with & motivate staff & labour force, ensuring employee's welfare is being taken care of.

Those with experience in estate operational management in planting, costing, budgeting, execution & monitoring are highly desired.

Willing to work in Bintulu & will be based in Estate.
