Job Description

Basic Function of the Job:

Key process: Optical Coating, Scribe and Cleaving, Sawing, Die Sorting, AOI, Stack and Unstacking

  • To assist production and engineering in achieving assembly goals.
  • Conduct first level check on equipment failure.
  • To maintain and qualify equipment, tools/fixtures for production and engineering use.
  • Perform periodic verification, calibration and preventive maintenance on equipment/ tools/ fixtures. To
  • Provide technical support on process to ensure smooth production.
  • Execute improvement projects to improve equipment' performance, process stability and efficiency.
  • Responsible for the overall tool-Downtime.
  • He/ she is responsible for establishing and implementing all appropriate usage of jigs & fixture.
  • Monitoring reaction plans to improve recovery plans if any machine down.
  • Responsible for the equipment troubleshooting documentation, downtime report, and spare parts management.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
  • Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.

  • Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
  • Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc
Job Requirements
  • Education: Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics or Mechanical or Mechatronics or Telecommunication)
  • Experience: At least 5-year experience in related industry. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
  • With good computer literacy, good communication skills and reporting of information/data.
  • Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics.
  • Familiarity with measuring/calibration instruments is an added advantage.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical precision equipment and RF knowledge is an added advantage.
