Job description

Project Construction Period

• Review professional design documents for equipment and piping.
• Prepare procurement plans for equipment and piping materials.
• Support the installation manager in supervising quality, progress, and final acceptance inspection.
• Coordinate with DOSH for special equipment installation and compliance.

Factory Operation Period

• Establish and maintain equipment management systems, SOPs, and records.
• Collect, organize, and archive technical data, drawings, and maintenance records.
• Develop inspection and maintenance plans; troubleshoot operational issues.
• Manage the full lifecycle of special equipment in line with DOSH requirements.
• Oversee spare parts planning and preventive maintenance execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Equipment / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of equipment and piping installation.
• Familiar with project management principles.
• Strong understanding of Malaysia DOSH compliance and special equipment management.
• Welding skills (carbon steel & stainless steel) and certificates.
• Basic knowledge of chemical equipment, pumps, and mixing devices.
• Good communication skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage for China-based projects).
