Job description

Responsibilities

Responsible for overall utility plant operation, inclusive Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS), Scheduled Waste (SW), Boiler, RO System, compressed air system, electricity system, water system, and etc.

Ensure IETS is operated efficiently and SW is managed well in compliance with acts and regulations.

Keep informed and updated from time to time on whatever new regulations or requirements from the Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia or related authorities.

To monitor and operate RO water system, electricity system, and compressed air system efficiently so that processed water, electricity, and compressed air can be supplied to production machinery continuously and efficiently.

To liaise with the relevant government bodies such as DOSH, DOE, SAINS, TNB on any utilities-related matters.

To ensure all related facilities and equipment work effectively, and liaise with the maintenance team to get repairs or services done within with maintenance department.

Requirements

• Candidate must be competent and hold valid CePIETSO/ CePBFO / CePSO certificates
• More than 3 years’ experience in the related field.
• Good interpersonal skill and ability to cultivate teamwork spirit.
• Well-versed in statutory and regulatory requirements of the Environment Act 1974 and all other related regulations.
