About the role

This full‑time Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Executive position at Panac Advanced Film Malaysia SDN. BHD offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the environmental sustainability and occupational health and safety of the organisation's operations in Perai, Penang.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and monitoring robust EHS policies, procedures and management systems to drive continuous improvement in environmental and workplace safety performance.
• Conducting risk assessments, inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
• Providing expert advice and guidance to all levels of the organisation on EHS matters, and delivering engaging training to promote a strong safety culture.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to investigate incidents, analyse data, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Preparing and submitting mandatory EHS reports and records, and acting as the key point of contact for external regulatory bodies.
• Staying up‑to‑date with evolving EHS regulations and best practices, and recommending improvements to EHS systems and processes.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an EHS role, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant EHS regulations, standards and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and decision‑making skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Possess NIOSH Occupational Safety & Health Officer's Certificate.
• Registered with JKKP/NIOSH.
• Green book holder is an advantage.
