Scenic Enrichment Manager

Location: Europe - multiple countries.

Requirements

• Experience in the field of entertainment or as an animator at a hotel or on a cruise ship
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Excellent communication skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Stress tolerant
• Team player
• Familiar with a multicultural working environment
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Guest oriented and professional attitude
• Some experience with studio technical equipment
• Playing an instrument or acquaintance with performing arts is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service
• Assist with welcoming guests on embarkation day
• Assist Cruise Director with outgoing transfers and manage taxis on disembarkation day
• Research, prepare and execute offboard activities
• Host onboard Daytime Activities such as Cornhole, Afternoon Quizzes etc
• Setup and regularly control the background music system on board
• Setup music and microphone for crew parade on farewell gala dinners
• Assist Cruise Director with excursions as per instructions
• In charge of evening entertainment such as quiz nights, game shows, personal performances, Disco nights
• Take photographs and videos on board or ashore for social media as requested
• Host lectures / information talks based on TI
• Assist with or host World of Scenic once per cruise, highlighting everything we offer at Scenic Group
• Report to CD and provide him/her info about daily rundown of activities, attendances and feedback (CD to add to daily report)

Side Tasks

• Assist other departments as per supervisor’s instruction
• Perform other duties assigned as per supervisor’s instruction
• Participate in all safety drills as per captain’s instructions and ensure solid knowledge of the designated safety role
