ENGINEERING MANAGER (STEEL STRUCTURE SPECALIST)

Dynamic Building System Sdn Bhd – Puchong New Village

We are seeking a talented and experienced Engineering Manager (Steel Structure Specialist) to join our dynamic team at Dynamic Building System Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of innovative steel structures for our construction projects in Puchong, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

Lead and manage the engineering team, overseeing all structural design activities from concept to completion.

Plan, organize, and assign tasks to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.

Review and validate design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment with project requirements.

Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to design engineers and draughtsmen.

Implement and enforce design standards, processes, and best practices.

Drive innovation in design tools, automation, and efficiency improvements.

Manage design-related issues during project execution, supporting site and project teams.

Support management in resource planning, recruitment, and capability development within the design function.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in structural or steel design, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.

Strong knowledge of structural design software (Tekla, Revit, etc.).

Proven experience leading a design team and managing multiple design deliverables.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE/IR) is an advantage.
