Installation and Maintenance: Setting up new equipment, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring all systems are operating correctly.

Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues, often requiring hands‑on work and problem‑solving.

Testing and Inspection: Evaluating the performance of machinery and equipment, often using specialized tools and instruments.

Following Designs and Blueprints: Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installations and repairs.

Working with Engineers: Collaborating with engineers to improve designs, implement new technologies, and troubleshoot complex problems.

Maintaining a Safe Environment: Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe workspace for themselves and others.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce parts to previse specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders.

• Maintain detailed records of production control data (ERP).
