Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering preferably in E&E/Mechatronics.
• 1-2 years of related working experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Responsibilities

Component Selection & Evaluation: Evaluate customer sample products to identify and select optimal machine vision components (e.g., cameras, lenses, lighting), ensuring alignment with technical specifications and project requirements.

Image & Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive machine vision image analysis by using standard vision software platform, compiling detailed reports and datasets to support engineering decisions and customer deliverables.

Advanced Deep Learning & AI Application: Utilize deep learning methodologies for complex image analysis, including data preparation, annotation labelling, model training, and compilation of analytical results.

Lab Equipment Management: Ensure optimal laboratory operation by performing scheduled preventive maintenance, annual calibrations, and upkeep of all machine vision equipment.

Operational & Logistical Support: Provide direct support to the Engineering Team on priority tasks and manage the end-to-end shipping process for samples and vision components.

Job Requirements

• Preferably bachelor’s degree / Postgraduate in Engineering (preferably E&E/Mechatronics) or equivalent.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting on equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of machine vision / image processing / optical physics is an added advantage.
• Preferable 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Responsible, able to work independently, initiative and good interpersonal skills.
• Discipline, strong time management skill, multi-tasking with priority planning.
