Engineer, Quality Assurance & Quality Control

This role will be hired under the construction arm of the OSK Group, namely OSK Construction Sdn Bhd.

OSK Construction is responsible for construction and project execution, mainly for OSK Group’s property development projects and selected external jobs.

We are currently seeking an Engineer, Quality Assurance & Quality Control to support our high-rise development project in Butterworth.

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role will be responsible to assist the superior to implement and review all policies, procedures and instructions related to the performance of quality management system.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
  • To implement and monitor the compliance on all policies, activities, procedures and instructions which are relevant and required by ISO 9001 standard as well as Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) management system.
  • To support and provide guidance to project team on ISO 9001 and QAQC matters.
  • To verify and review contractor’s Project Quality Safety Health and Environment Plan (PQSHEP) and monitor the implementation of the approved PQSHEP.
  • To monitor the routine project’s quality assessment and inspection and its records compliance.
  • To monitor and verify the implementation of suitable correction, corrective and preventive actions of the system.
  • To coordinate and liaise with project team in preparation for routine QSHE assessment, QLASSIC assessment and VP inspection of the project.
  • To coordinate with ISO Internal Audit Team on audit process.
  • To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in QAQC within the construction industry (experience in high-rise residential is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience in site inspections, material testing, and quality control documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic project management software.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.
