Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of biochemical/chemical processing technologies to be incorporated in Gas Malaysia’s project, identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency enhancement, and environmental sustainability.
• Prepare or review the detailed engineering designs, process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and operating procedures to support project implementation and process optimization initiatives.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve design and performance, reduce environmental impact, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Knowledge in advanced simulation software and modeling techniques to evaluate process alternatives, optimize equipment performance, and maximize resource utilization.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that process improvements align with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental sustainability goals.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors, consultants and other project personnel.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and training to operations personnel to ensure successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of process enhancements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Oil and Gas/Biogas/Renewable Energy production processes, incorporating relevant advancements into process optimization efforts.
