Job summary

A leading cement manufacturing company in Gopeng is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to supervise maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and systematic maintenance. Job description

Supervise the execution of preventive and predictive maintenance by leading the fortnightly planning and monitoring the execution of the plan.

Support and provide feedback via the weekly Execution Maintenance Schedule meeting.

Supervise breakdown jobs and provide support on the shutdown plan.

Lead the Inventory planning and provide support to procurement on technical purchases.

Raise indents for the requisite material and assist the purchasing department.

To support Plant Inspections carried out by Inspectors.

Ensure that the Planners turn the WO into detailed activities for the Execution team.

Participate in the RCA meetings for the unplanned stoppages as per the RCA Guideline and provide input based on feedback from the Technician.

Supervise the Budget for the Mechanical Execution Process and minimize unnecessary spending.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles within the cement manufacturing industry or mining industry.

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes used in cement plants, including crushers, mills, kilns, conveyors, and dust collectors.

Technical knowledge of preventive, predictive, and systematic maintenance (databases, CMMS, Project Software).
