- To work on optical test characterization, data analysis and silicon photonics models development.
- To involve in PDK development, component designs and simulation to fulfill the silicon photonics roadmap.
- To work on the tape out of silicon photonics modeling test chips.
- To participate in the innovation activities, publication, patents submission and roadshow support to promote Silterra's capability in Silicon Photonics process development and manufacturing excellence.
ETCH PROCESS ENGINEER
Job Summary:
- Candidate should be certified/hands-on on below listed tools.
- FE/BE Etch process tools.
- Etch Metrology tools.
- Collaborate with Process Integration / Module Engineer's on new technology/product development/transfer stage.
- Unit Etch process development for New technology. Process development for capacity expansion.
- Performing qualifications and process tools matching (if required).
- Work as a team with Process, Manufacturing and Equipment Technicians / Engineers to meet the development goal.
- Sustain new/current technologies/product.
CUSTOMER ENGINEERING
Job Summary:
- To provide technical interface to customers & the fab and ensure smooth exchange of technical data
- To provide technical program management to sustain the customers
- To participate in/assist customer sort/FT yield improvement, product development & qualification
- To aid in customer technology transfer/development, lead/participate in new technology development & introduction program for customer
- To provide active support/technical expertise to Sales & Marketing to close new business
- To own & provide technical support to customer tapeout, own & process prototype lot, coordinate/support post-fabout customer prototype qualification activities to ramp the proto device into production in shortest possible time
- Work with Yield Engineering to meet/exceed product yield entitlement
- Work with manufacturing team to meet the production goals
Job Requirements
Education required:
Must have at least B.Sc. in Physics with solid state specialization or Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Micro/Nano-Electronics/ Computer Engineering.
Years of experience:
Preferable 2 years of work experience in the related field, but not absolutely necessary.
Skills / Abilities:
- 1. Familiar with semiconductor physics, silicon photonics devices and process.
- 2. Familiar with Unix/Linux operating system.
- 3. Familiar with writing and generating script for model development, measurement and data analysis using Phyton and Verilog-A. Other languages such as TCL, Native skill, PEL (ICCAP) will be value added.
- 4. Familiar with ANSYS Lumerical, LUCEDA PDK, IC-CAP and LabVIEW software and hands on experience with EDA tools including CADENCE, SYNOPSYS and MENTOR GRAPHICS.
- 5. Hands on experience with device characterization and handling electronic lab instruments.
